Obituary of Reba Price Meredith Hendrix

Funeral services for Reba Price Meredith Hendrix, age 75 of Grayson, will be held at 2 PM Thursday, May 12, 2016 from the sanctuary of Old Bethel Baptist Church, Clarks with Bro. Tony Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Old Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Old Bethel Baptist Church from 4 PM until time of services on Thursday at 2 PM. Mrs. Hendrix was born in Clarks, LA on August 10, 1940 to the union of Cecil Russell Price, Sr. and Cleo Barnett Price and passed from this life on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Hendrix; daughter, Becky Meredith; daughter-in-law, Jan Meredith and the father of her children, Buel Meredith. Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons: Bryan Meredith of Grayson and Oby Meredith and wife, Martha of Clarks; step-children: Trena Honeycutt and husband, Craig of Grayson, Clivetta Scroggs and husband, James of Kelly; sister, Dwanell Pauley and husband, Elbert of Clarks; brother, Russell Price and wife, Maxine of Grayson; eight grandchildren: Casey Meredith and wife, Kimbra of Monroe, Chyan Kelly and husband, Terry of Grayson, Phillip Anderson and wife, Victoria of Hebert; Gus Mills and wife, Abby of Clarks, Jesse Hendrix and wife, Holly of Clarks, Micheal Meredith and wife, Miranda of Hebert, Meredith Scroggs and Macy Scroggs and eleven great-grandchildren: Amanda Kelly, Rowdy Kelly, Savannah Meredith, Jordan Meredith, Kaylee Meredith, Jacee Meredith, Chance Meredith, Hayden Meredith, Chloe Meredith, Lilly Anderson and Liam Anderson. Pallbearers will be Jesse Hendrix, Gus Mills, Terry Kelly, Phillip Anderson, Micheal Meredith and Craig Honeycutt. Honorary pallbearers will be Beau Mills and Casey Meredith.
