Obituary of Dallas Wayne Evans

Funeral services for Dallas Wayne Evans will be held at 2PM Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from the sanctuary of Bethany Baptist Church in Hebert, Louisiana with Sis. Kristy Dunn, Bro. Johnny Miller and Bro. Billy McClanahan officiating. Interment will be at Bethany Cemetery, Hebert, Louisiana. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at the church from 5PM until 8PM and Wednesday, July 1, 2016 from 10AM until time of service. Dallas was born July 31, 1987 in Monroe, Louisiana to his loving parents, Richard Evans and Linda Evans McClanahan. He lived in Hebert all of his nearly 29 years, two months short of his birthday. Dallas was a 2006 graduate of Caldwell Parish High School. He attended the Hebert Full Gospel Church where he played guitar. Dallas was a strong Christian who loved Jesus. He always prayed for his family and friends. Dallas was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, his brother, Thomas W. Bamburg and his maternal grandmother, Florice Williams. He is survived by his mother; sisters: Penny Williams and husband, Dave of Hebert, Sheila McDonald and husband, Thomas of Hebert; nephews: Evan Wilson and wife, Jackie of North Carolina, David Norris of Olla; nieces: Ciarra Williams of North Carolina, Melissa Map and husband, Michael of Olla; two great-nephews; three great-nieces and many, many friends. The family would like to thank Legacy Hospice for their special care during his illness and Community Care for the love and care they have shown though out his life. Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Ludlow, Dakota Ludlow, Jacob Bass, Kerry Paul Franklin, Samuel Harris and Zach Tucker.
