Nan was such an astounding and magnanimous human being! She watched me grow up and, although I was not her grandson by blood, she treated me just like one of her own. Vivid memories of roly poly bug catching and board games galore intact, there was never a platudinous moment around Nan! She was from the school of hard love, yet she always made sure her babies were entertained and taken care of. She was a woman who understood the joys of childhood and let her babies' imaginations soar! Nan would sit with us and play BrainQuestâ„¢ and jubilantly encouraged dress up! Growing up different, she always assured me that not only did she vehemently adore me, but Christ did as well. The world lost such a brilliant, compassionate, and endearing woman. Yet, Christ called home one of His finest, most cherished children--our Nan!
