Obituary of India Dawn Duchesne

India Dawn Duchesne, age 55 was born April 9, 1961 to the union of Edward and Bertha Duchesne in Rayville, LA. She passed from this life on September 22, 2016 at her residence in Grayson, LA. India was a homemaker who welcomed everyone into her home and her heart. India is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jessie "Hammerhead" Mitchell; and her best friend, Saundra Osment-Hopp. She is survived by two daughters: Roxanne Thompson and husband, Jason and Indi Lane Duchesne and Dane Harrell; sisters: Vicki Walker, Debbie Norrell, Rose Cobb, and Penny Cruse; grandchildren: Nathan, Jessie Mena, Cheyenne, Chase, Lane, Jasper, Sloan, Whitney, Jathan and Caleb; and children she loved like her own: Byron Caldwell, Michelle Buckalew Scroggs, Allan Michael Sandidage and Bruce Scarbrough. She leaves behind her best friend, Barbara Bolton and her fur babies: Ty-Kiowa, Jake and Cherokee. She was loved and cherished by so many and will be greatly missed. No services are planned.
