My sincere condolences to you and your family,
No one is ever totally prepared for the death of a loved one. When death strikes the pain and grief ca be intense. May you draw close to God through prayer and he will sustain you. (Psalms 55:22) He is also the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) May he show you his love through caring friends, warm memories, and moments of peace.
