Obituary of Betty Kirkham Belk

Funeral services for Betty Kirkham Belk, age 69 of Grayson, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 23, 2017 at New Hope Baptist Church in Swampers with Bro. Kelly Clark, Bro. Jimmy Harper, and Bro. Bobby Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at Harris Cemetery in Swampers. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia and Thursday from 11:00 AM until service time at the church. Betty was born to the union of Clarence and Elizabeth Boyett Kirkham in Winnsboro and she passed from this life on February 20, 2017 at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro. She was a Registered Nurse for many years and she loved to help people. She would buy groceries and pick up prescriptions for home health patients that needed it. She loved flowers and horses. She was preceded in death by her son: Richard Belk; her parents; brothers: Donnie Kirkham and James Kirkham; She is survived by her sons: Terry Belk of Columbia; Perry Belk and his girlfriend Lethey of Columbia; faithful companion: Jimmy Atnip; brother: Delmer Kirkham of Crowville; sister: Mary Ann Fisher of Tallulah; Sister-in-laws: Vicky McCaa of Crowville; Nellie Kirkham of Dodson.
