Obituary of Willie Robinson Wilson

Graveside services for Willie Robinson Wilson, age 90 of Grayson, LA will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson, LA with Bro. Jack McKeithen officiating. Visitation will be at Riser Funeral Home, Columbia, LA on Wednesday prior to services from 12 PM to 1:30 PM. Mrs. Wilson was born on February 1, 1927 in Clarks, LA to the union of her parents, Eleazor Benjamin Robinson and Mary Volentine Robinson and passed from this life on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Haven Nursing Center, Columbia, LA. Willie was a devoted housewife who was a great mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Byron Wilson. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Randy Wilson and wife, Debbie of Shreveport; two sisters: Susan Robinson and Elaine Cox both of Grayson; two grandchildren: Andrew Digilormo and Stefanie Lincoln; great-grandchild, Haley Lincoln and family friend, Joel Boone. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Mrs. Willie's memory to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children. The family would like to thank the staff, nurses and doctors at Haven Nursing Center for their dedication to the care and well being of their mother and grandmother.
