Obituary of Mable Walker Russell

Funeral services for Mable Walker Russell, age 95 of Clarks, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Samuel Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.

Mable was born August 23, 1922 to the union of Louis and Emma Jean Walker in Talladega, AL and she passed from this life on April 29, 2017 at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia.

She love to read and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband: Francis Drake Russell; her parents.

She is survived by her son: Herbert Scott and his wife Jan of West Monroe; Jack Scott and his wife Bonnie of Choudrant; daughter: Mable Ann Black and her husband Tommy of Grayson; brother: Sam Dixon Walker of Talladega, AL; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Allen Scott, Trace Scott, Ray Barrett, Nathaniel Walker, Josh Branch, Alan Leffel, Jr., and Blake Leffel.
