Obituary of Patricia "Pat" Jenkins

Funeral services for Patricia “Pat” Jenkins, age 80 of Grayson, will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 11, 2017 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Dean Love officiating.Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.

Pat was born March, 7, 1937 to the union of Mack and Clara James in Belzona, MS and she passed from this life on May 8, 2017 at Haven Nursing Center in Columbia.

She was retired from Hogan Drilling. She loved music and singing. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Mary Beth Jenkins; her parents; sister: Charlene Carr.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years: M.H. Jenkins; sons: Malcolm Jenkins of Grayson; Allan Jenkins and his wife Joyce of Grayson; David Jenkins and his wife Gayle of Grayson; Carole Lafferty and her husband Charles of Columbia; brothers: Jerry and Terry James; sister: Martha James; grandchildren: Matisha McCarthy, Leah Temple, Gavin Jenkins, Derrick Lafferty, and Kayla May; four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Gavin Jenkins, Boyce Temple, Layton Adams, Jayden Jenkins, Derrick Lafferty, and Cameron May.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Vincent Jenkins and Nolan May.
