Obituary of Kathy Waggoner

Funeral services for Kathy Waggoner, age 72, of Olla, will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 12, 2017 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Olla. Interment will follow at Olla Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 11:30 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Kathy was born October 7, 1944 to the union of William and Clydean Waggoner in Lake Charles and she passed from this life on June 10, 2017 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.

She graduated from NSU in education Cum Laude. She was a devoted LSU and Saints fan and loved her family and animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents: sister: Margaret Waggoner; grandson: Craig Bond; best friend: Charlotte Underwood.

She is survived by her sons: Keith Allen and his wife Charlotte of Vinton, LA; Trey Crichton and his wife Amy of Lake Charles; daughters: Kristi Underwood and her husband Shane of Olla; Kerri Knight and her husband Danny of Olla; Brothers: Lamar Waggoner of Hot Springs Villiage, Ar.; John Waggoner of Olla.; Step Father; Robert Bown of Toledobend: grandchildren: Brandon Allen, Jerra Ates, Lindsey Knight Delrie, Michael Knight, Samantha Guidry, Madalyn Allen, David Austin Wallace, Christopher Allen, Daniel Allen, and Richard Crichton; four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Andrews, Johnny Dugan, Richard Finlay, Jr., Michael Knight, Tyler Delrie, and Danny Guidry.
