Obituary of Mary Ann Martin

Funeral services for Mary Ann Martin, age 77, of Kelly, will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Outreach Baptist Church, west of Columbia with Rev. Sherman Jones and Rev. David Gomez officiating. Interment will follow at Little Star Cemetery in Kelly. Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the church. Services are under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.

Mary was born November 23, 1939 to the union of Ray and Carmen Grant in Grayson and she passed from this life on June 22, 2017 at her residence in Kelly.

She was a member of Apostolic Truth Tabernacle in Grayson and she loved to crochet. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lamar Martin, Sr.; son, Jimmy Lamar Martin, Jr.; her parents; and granddaughter, Jessica Martin.

She is survived by her son, C.R. Martin and his wife, Stephanie of Columbia; sisters: Faye Kruger and Melba Strange, both of Columbia; grandchildren: Jamie Knox of Columbia, Justin Martin and his wife, Katie of Baton Rouge; great-grandchildren: Cameron and Jacob Martin and Breanna Macy Knox;

Pallbearers will be Greg Bassett, Chris Wheeeler, Chris Strickland, Andy Hodges, Marty Hart, and Ricky Grant.
