Obituary of William "Bill" Crawford

Funeral services for William “Bill” Crawford, age 48, of Grayson, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 30, 2017 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Jack McKeithen officiating. Interment will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery in Clarks. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.

Bill was born September 26, 1968 to the union of Floyd and Janice Kennedy Crawford in Columbia and he passed from this life on June 28, 2017 at his residence in Grayson. He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew: Kyle Rogers.

Bill was loved by many. He never met a stranger. He enjoyed working hard and also volunteered for the fire department and the Caldwell Parish Sheriff's office. He loved his family and friends very much. He was brought much joy by his grandchildren, Brantley and Easton. Bill had a special bond with his son Austin whom he loved very much. He also leaves behind his loving wife of 25 years.

He is survived by his wife of twenty five years: Tammy Crawford of Grayson; son: Austin Fitzgerald and his wife Sydney of Clarks; sister: Lisa Rogers; grandchildren: Brantley and Easton Fitzgerald; aunts: Lawana Cowart, Cherry Crawford, and Joan Crawford; uncle: James Crawford.

Pallbearers will be Josh Rogers, Bryan Girod, Nathan Plunkett, B Line Exline, Bobby Lee West, Scott White, Duane Smith, and Wop Harper.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Oxner, Glen Belk, all of his friends from Clarks that were like his brothers, and his co workers from the Caldwell Parish Sheriif's Office.
