Obituary of Richard Nelson Deville

Funeral services for Richard Deville will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Outreach Baptist Church, Columbia with Bro. C.R. Martin and Bro. Shane
Duke officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson under the direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 PM until 8 PM, Friday, July 28 at the church.

Richard Nelson Deville was born February 4, 1963 in Lafayette, Louisiana to the union of his parents, Charles Nelson Deville and Delores Reynolds Deville. He passed from this life on July 26, 2017 at his home in Grayson, Louisiana surrounded by family and friends. Richard dedicated his life to law enforcement for 27 years. He was a member of Outreach Baptist Church where he enjoyed being part of a wonderful church family. He was married to the love of his life, Stacy Black Deville. They believed that "God blessed our broken road that led to each other." He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Deville; father-in-law, Travis Black and brother-in-law, Randy Black.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Stacy Deville of Grayson; father, Nelson Deville of Lafayette; son, Jonathan McClanahan and wife, Jennifer of Grayson; daughters: Victoria Armand and husband, Eugene of Lafayette, Tiffany Lenard and husband, Jeffery of Hebert, and Shelby Cruz and husband, Chris of Lafayette; sisters: Margaret Deville of Lafayette and Patricia Deville Foley and husband, Joseph of Crestview, Florida; grandchildren: Jackson McClanahan, Jillian McClanahan, Stevie Deville, Jimi Armand, Manny Armand, Aaiden Lenard and Cooper Cruz, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chris Mabou, Earnest Guerrero, Brandon Waggoner, Mitch Bratton, Thomas Parker, Hank Boyles, Dustin May, Drew Bergeron, Mike Duplechain, and Robert McKeithen. Honorary pallbearers will be Clay Bennett, Jack McKeithen and the deputies and staff at Caldwell Parish Sheriff's Department.
