Obituary of Sheila Duchesne Whittington

Sheila Duchesne Whittington, 54 of West Monroe and formerly of Columbia passed away on August 12, 2017 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe following a brief illness. She was born on June 16, 1963 at Columbia to the union of her parents Ray Duchesne and Maxine McClanahan Duchesne. She was preceded in death by her father Ray Duchesne, her husband: Charles “Nubby” Whittington and by her sister: Melba Jean Emmons.

She is survived by her mother Maxine Duchesne of Columbia, two brothers: Dolyn R. Duchesne and Randall D. Duchesne both of Columbia; her special friend: Earl Dickerson and a host of other family members.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday August 24, 2017 from the sanctuary of Bethany Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
