Obituary of Carolyn Cruse

Funeral services for Carolyn Cruse, age 74 of Olla, Will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Standard Baptist Church in Olla with Bro. Denver McBroom and Bro. Shad Tibbs officiating. Interment will follow at Chickasaw Cemetery in Olla. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church. Services are under the direction of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia.

Carolyn was born August 10, 1943 to the union of Quincy and Grace Bass Cruse in Rochelle and she passed from this life on August 21, 2017 at St. Francis Cabrini Medical Center in Alexandria.

She babysat and raised a lot of kids who knew her as mamaw.  She was preceded in death by her son: James Wesley Bradford; her parents.

She is survived by her son: Kevin Bradford of Olla; daughter: Lori Barnhill and her husband Chris of Olla; brothers: Buck Cruse and Ronald Cruse; grandchildren: Cierra Adams and her husband Bradley, Christa Barnhill, Ty Barnhill, Shelbee Bradford, Tamara Bradford, April Speicher and her husband Joey, and Casey Hayes; twelve geat-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jason Coleman, Roy Dean Humphries, Dewayne Humphries, Bart Meredith, Chad Brown, and Bubbaa Miles.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Parson Aycock.
