Obituary of Debbie Sharp Kenworthy

Memorial services for Debbie S. Kenworthy will be held at 7:30 PM Monday, August 28, 2017 at the chapel of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 6 PM until time of service at the chapel.

Debbie Sharp Kenworthy was born November 17, 1958 to the union of her parents, Willie and Virgie Harris Sharp. She passed from this life on August 23, 2017 at her home in Kelly, Louisiana.  Debbie was a nurse for over 20 years and she took nursing to heart in every way, shape and form. She loved taking care of people and showering them with motherly love. She was referred to as Momma, Momma Deb and Momma Debbie by so many people they are too numerous to name but each of them was special to her. She never met a stranger. Debbie enjoyed beading, gardening and attending drag races.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roy Kenworthy.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Zachary Kenworthy and significant other, Mary, Royce Baum and wife, Jona, Jennifer Ramsey and husband, Peewee, Crystal Henderson and wife, Susan, Morgan Lachney and husband, Joseph; brothers: Bill Sharp and wife, Norma, James Sharp, and Jessie Sharp and wife, Pat; sisters: Pat Bray and husband, Bob and Virgie Cox and husband, Johnny; grandchildren: Kenneth Buckalew, Sam Ramsey, Kade "Moose" Ramsey, Peyton Best, Aubree Lachney, Kayla Baum, Brook Ramsey , Summer Ramsey and numerous great-grandchildren.
