Obituary of Jenny Ernestine Davis

Funeral services for Jenny E. Davis age 83 of Hebert will be held 1:00 PM Monday August 28, 2017 at the Little Flock Baptist Church in Many, LA. Interment will follow in the Little Flock Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday at the church beginning at 11:00 AM.Mrs. Davis was a longtime resident of Many, LA and a member of the Little Flock Baptist Church. Her last four years she lived at Hebert and was cared for by her son, Rusty Davis and grandson Chris Davis. She loved to fish, and was always ready for a hand of cards. She was preceded in death by her husband Geiva "Buddy" Davis and her daughter Jenny Lynn Alford. Left to cherish her memory  are her daughter, Rhonda Cole and husband Terry, son, Gary Davis and wife Karen, daughter, Mary Copeland and husband Jerry and son , Buddy "Rusty" Davis and wife Debbie; thirteen grand children, 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.  She also is survived by a sister, Lavata Jenkins and a brother, Tony Reams, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
