Obituary of Ava Grace Crockett

Funeral services for Ava Grace Crockett will be held at 1 PM Monday, September 25, 2017 at the auditorium of Caldwell Parish High School, Columbia, Louisiana with Bro. C. R. Martin and Bro. David Gomez officiating. Interment will follow at Columbia Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 PM until 8 PM Sunday, September 24 at Outreach Baptist Church in Columbia.

Gracie Crockett was born December 27, 2001 in Monroe, Louisiana and she passed from this life on September 22, 2017 in Columbia, Louisiana. She was the daughter of Todd Crockett and Stacey Ebarb. Gracie was a beautiful, caring, sweet soul who loved her family dearly. She was a student at Caldwell Parish High School where she was very involved in many activities including 4-H, BETA, DECA and Student Council. Gracie was a member of the dance team, the Rhythm Blues. Each of the girls and their sponsor, Logan Wallace were dear to her. She was honored by her class to be chosen as Freshman Maid on the 2016 Homecoming Court. Gracie was an active member of Outreach Baptist Church. Her candle was extinguished way too soon, but her light will shine on in the hearts of her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Doug Crockett and her uncle, Jeremy Lynn Reeves.

Left to cherish her memory are her father, Todd Douglas Crockett of Columbia; her mother, Stacey Ebarb of Moss Bluff; her grandmother, whom she adored, Bonnie Crockett of Columbia; grandfather, Patrick Ebarb of Zwolle; grandmother, Sandra Sepulvado of Moss Bluff; brothers: Derek, Hunter and Dakota; aunts: ReRe Crockett of West Monroe, Lori Broussard and husband, Greg of Columbia, Tammy May of Columbia, Ashlee Guidry and husband, Eric of West Lake and Janie Ebarb of Zwolle; special cousin, Brooklyn Carr and special "grandparents," Sherri and Iley Evans.

Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Meredith, Clay Bennett, Brandon Waggoner, Ricky Ratcliff, Dan Wallace, Sam Sanders, Eric Williams and Chad Lee. Honorary pallbearer will be Jimmy Gaylor, Jr.
