Obituary of Cyrus Earl Hoadley

Cyrus Earl Hoadley age 98 of Olla passed from this life on September 23, 2017 at the Hardtner Medical Center in Urania. He was born on May 12, 1919 at Dearborn Heights,Michigan to his parents, Claud Hoadley and Bertha Hoadley. Mr. Hoadley was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was of the Catholic Faith and he served in the United States Army. He was a retired employee of International Paper Company. His hobbies included reading and crossword puzzles.

He was preceded in death by his parents Claud and Bertha Hoadley, by a son, Willis Lee Hoadley and a brother, Randall Hoadley. Left to cherish a lifetime of memories are his wife of fifty-six years, Joyce K. Hoadley of Olla; his son, Gilbert Hoadley of Houston, Texas; his daughter, Mary Stahl and husband, Fred of Crawford, Colorado and his step-daughter: JoAnn McBride of Odessa, Texas; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The Hoadley family honored Mr. Hoadley's request of no service and lovingly chose cremation to honor his wishes.
