Obituary of Chelsea Brast Massey

Graveside services for Chelsea Brast Massey, age 21, of  Columbia, will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 16, 2017 at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson with Bro. Richard Smith officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia.
Chelsea was born September 5, 1996 to the union of Erik and Angela Thompson Brast in Urania and she passed from this life on October 12, 2017.
She was a wonderful mother who loved to cook and sing. She was preceded in death by her son: Jaydan Michael Massey; father: Erik Brast.
She is survived by her husband: Jeremy Massey of Columbia;  mother: Angela Brast of West Monroe; son: Roden John Paul Gutherie of Talisheke, LA; daughter: Emmalynn Marie Massey of Monroe; sister: Shelbie Brast of Columbia; grandmother: Teresa Tarver and grandfather, Harold Tarver of Columbia; numerous friends and family members.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Gutherie, Chris Gutherie, Dustin Bates, Steven Massey, Charles Johnson, Trent Bates, Scott Massey, and Cameron Bolton.
