Obituary of Clarence Martin Moore

Funeral services for Clarence M. Moore age 68 of Kelly will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday November 22, 2017 from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Aguillard officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson. The Moore Family will receive visitors on Tuesday November 21, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Clarence Martin Moore was born on November 30, 1948 to the union of his parents Nervie Moore and George Sanders Moore and he passed from this life to life anew on November 20, 2017 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia following an extended illness. Clarence was an avid horseman, loved working with cattle and was a true cowboy in life and in heart. Another passion of his was hog hunting, capture and release. He was a member of Kelly Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, his son-in-law: Cal McClary and by eleven siblings.

Survivors include his wife Peggy Moore of Kelly, his son: Jason Moore of Kelly and his daughter Crissy M. McClary of Kelly. He is also survived by two brothers: Dale Moore and Buddy Paul Moore and a host of nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Morgan, Ray Braddock, Bubba Moses, David Earl Varnell, Kevin Conner, Conard Linton, Damien Moore, and Shaun Moore. Honorary pallbearers include Tommy Driggers, Dale Hendrix, Ronnie Hatten, Al Laird, Aaron McGuire, and Harry Chelette.

In lieu of flowers any planned memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital.
