Obituary of Jimmy Dale Sears

Jimmy Dale Sears age 58 of Hebert passed from this life suddenly on Saturday December 16, 2017 from injuries received in an automobile accident. Jimmy was born on July 11, 1959 at Columbia to the union of his parents David Ezekial Sears and Myrtle Virginia Fitzgerald Sears. Jimmy was a member of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and shooting guns. He and his wife Christy enjoyed traveling and did so extensively by way of car and cruises. He just liked to drive and even more so in the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents and by two brothers David Sears, Jr and David Dewayne Sears. Left to cherish a lifetime of memories is his sweet wife Christy Hitt Sears and their daughter Doris Sears Cruz both of Hebert; his grandchildren who were the apple of his eye: Moises Dale Cruz, Melody Angelica Cruz and Madalyn Faith Cruz, his special canine friend Zeke who showed unconditional love always; two sisters: Julia Sears Bass and husband Larry of Monroe and Dorothy Lindsey of Grayson; and two brothers: John Vernon Sears and James Robert Sears both of Grayson.

The family and friends will gather on Wednesday December 20th in the sanctuary of Clarks  United Pentecostal Church at 3:00 PM for a memorial service officiated by Bro. Bobby Bennett. The family will receive visitors beginning at 2:00 PM.
