Obituary of Tessa Leann Hendrix
In memory of Tessa Leann Hendrix 1973-2018
Tessa Leann Hendrix was born August 26, 1973 to Gary & Lennie Hatten & went to be to be with her Lord & Savior February 2, 2018. Tessa had been battling Stage 4 Colon Cancer since October 31, 2017. Tessa is survived by her Father & Mother Gary & Lennie Hatten, Brother- Ray Lynn Hatten, Grandparents Nick Hatten & Marlene Hatten. Tessa was preceded in death by Grandparents Cliff & Neil Barton. Tessa was a member of Outreach Baptist Church & worked part time at Haven Rehabilitation Center where she was a Cota. Tessa was Blessed with a wonderful family where she had 3 loving sons Cole, Cameron & Cohen. Tessa loved the Lord with all her heart-soul & loved to tell everyone about Jesus. Tessa was loved by many as to know her was to love her & she will be greatly missed. Her smile was contagious & brightened the room wherever she went. She had a heart of gold & loved to help anyone out in any way she could. Tessa had a real passion for seeking the lost & spreading God’s word.
Left to cherish a Lifetime of memories is her husband Shane Hendrix, 3 sons- Cole, Cameron & Cohen all of Grayson, La., countless church family & friends from the community.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Corbin Baum, Spencer Hemphill, Kyle Hart, Stihl Smith, Alan Parham, & Drew Frazier.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, February 5, 2018 at Outreach Baptist Church west of Columbia with Bro. C.R. Martin and Bro. Rick Crandall officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM at the church. Interment will follow at Little Star Cemetery in Kelly. Services are under the direction of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia.
