Obituary of David Willis Batson

David Willis Batson of Olla, born February 8, 1949 to the union of Rev. Sidney Willis Batson and Marjorie Millard Holland Batson  passed from this life on February 10, 2018 at his residence following an extended illness. David was a retired employee of the Louisiana Forestry Commission. He was also responsible for the paper delivery of the Alexandria Town Talk and the Monroe News Star for many years. David was a friend to all and always had a wonderful smile when you met him. He will be sorely missed by family and friends alike. Memorial services will be held at a later date and will be announced by Riser & Son Funeral Home of Olla. Complete obituary information will also be announced later this week.
