Obituary of Sybil Lorine Cantrell

Funeral services for Sybil Lorine Cantrell, age 89, of Urania, Will be held at 11:30 AM, Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Urania Pentecostal Church with Bro. Travis Hutto officiating. Interment will follow at the Urania Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church. Services are under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.

Sybil was born August 5, 1928 to the union of Travis and Jewel Foster in Georgetown and she passed from this life at her residence on February 10, 2018.

She was a homemaker, a loving and caring mother with a deep faith in her Lord. She was a powerful influence on the young people in her family and was devoted to all who needed her. She was preceded in death by her husband: Victor Cantrell; her parents; and one sister: Willie Mae Foster.

She is survived by her son: Harvey D. Watson and daughter-in-law, Janet Sibley of Urania; brothers: Billy Wayne Foster and Fred Foster; grandchildren: Brittany Watson Ducrest (Walnut Creek, CA), Casey Watson (Little Rock, AR), and Kendell Watson (Monroe, LA); nieces: Susie Bynog; former sister-in-law: Ruth Watson; nephews: Billy Foster, Jr., David Foster, Jeff Foster, and Ray Foster.

She was soft spoken and was best friends to her nieces and nephews and never knew a stranger.
