Obituary of Betty L. Crain

Funeral services for Betty L. Crain, age 79, of Grayson, will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, April 2, 2018 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Shane Duke officiating. Interment will follow at Harris Cemetery in Swampers. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.

Betty was born March 4, 1939 to the union of Robert and Bessie Blackmon Houston in Baskin and she passed from this life on March 30, 2018 at her residence in Grayson.

She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Grayson. She loved the outdoors. She loved flowers and doing yard work. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Crain; three brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by her sons: Ricky Crain and his wife, Amy of Grayson; Tommy Crain and his wife, Juanita of Holum; daughters: Debra Oliveaux and her husband, Malcolm of Grayson; Jackie Thomas and her husband, Steve of West Monroe; Jeannie Crain of West Monroe and Melissa Sones and her husband, Phillip of Grayson; sister, Evelyn Hickingbottom; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Stevie Houston, Mitch Crain, Ryan Garlington, Phillip Sones, Greg Porter, and Freddy Mercer.
