Obituary of Bonnie Dunn Williams

Funeral services for Bonnie Dunn Williams age 85 of Grayson will be held 10:00AM Friday May 4, 2018 from the sanctuary of Springhill Baptist Church with Rev. Jack McKeithen and Rev. Martin Williams officiating. Bonnie will be laid to rest next to her loving husband J. W. Williams at the Roberts Cemetery west of Kelly. LA under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be on Thursday May 3, 2018 at the church from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Bonnie Dunn Williams was born on July 7, 1932 in West Monroe to the union of her parents Issac Orastus Dunn and Norman Lillian Moak Dunn,; and she went to her heavenly home on Tuesday May 1, 2018 at the Haven Nursing Center following an extended illness. Bonnie was a member of Springhill Baptist Church. She was a fun loving woman who enjoyed camping, fishing and singing bluegrass and gospel music with her brothers and friends. Bonnie was blessed with a large and loving family. She married the love of her life , J. W. Williams on April 9, 1954. Bonnie and J.W. raised their five children with love, patience and determination. Bonnie is survived by her children David Williams and wife Sandy, Sylvia Simmons and husband Clint, Jeff Williams and wife Rhonda, Kim Bradley and husband John, Jody Williams and wife Kelly. She is also survived by twenty one grandchildren and twenty eight great grand children. She leaves behind four brothers and their wives: Harold Dunn, Eddie and Edie Dunn, Jack and Carolyn Dunn and Kenneth and Peggy Dunn along with a host of nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Eddie Dunn, Brian Dunn, Glen Dunn, David Williams, Jim Gowan, Chase Williams and Jeff Williams, Jr.
