Obituary of Mamie Marie Hargrave

Funeral services for Mamie Marie Hargrave age 90 of Grayson will be held at 9:00 AM Saturday May 5, 2018 at the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 7:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Graveside committal service will be at 12:30 PM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Kaplan, Louisiana.

Mamie Marie Hargrave was born on August 16, 1927 at Kaplan, Louisiana to the union of Gillame Bourque and Edna Gallet Bourque and she passed from this life on May 3, 2018 at her residence in Grayson following a sudden illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Hargrave, by her parents and by her brothers L.J. Bourque, Paul A. Bourque, Alby Bourque and Dalton J. Bourque. Mamie loved people and music.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Judy Hargrave Blanc, Jimmy Hargrave, Rose Hargrave and Mary Jane Hargrave; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. The Hargrave family would like to extend a special thank you to Diane Pitre, Bobbie Gunn, Nell Brown, Kathy Spillers, Brenda Cockerham and staff of Express Medical Staff for the loving care and devotion they showed to Mamie.
