Obituary of Virginia Ann Crawford

Funeral services for Virginia Ann Crawford, age 57 of Olla, LA will be held 10:00 AM Friday, August 31, 2018 from the sanctuary of Standard Baptist Church at Olla with Rev. Shad Tibbs and Rev. Sullivan Phillip Crawford IV delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Rosefield Cemetery at Rosefield under the direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Olla. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Virginia Ann Crawford was born on November 2, 1960 at Pollock, LA to the union of her parents, Buel Price and Joyce Frazier Price, and she passed from this life to life a new on August 28, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents; by one brother, Jesse Price and her sisters: Carolyn Price and Cora Helen Faircloth. She was a member of Standard Baptist Church. To know Virginia was to love her.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-nine years, Phillip Crawford III of Olla; also her children: Phil Crawford and wife, Ashley of Olla, Tiffany Taylor and husband, Micheal Dee of Olla, Jennifer Gardner and husband, Avery of Olla, and Jacob Crawford of Olla; eight grandchildren: Cloey, Jasmyn, Mollie, and Lucy Taylor; Hallie and Heidi Crawford; Sully and Josie Gardner; special friend, Linda Willis and niece, Annie Hill. She also is survived by her sisters: Josephine Walker, Wanda Sue Carroll, Buelah White, Wilma Greene, Nancy Mayes and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include Johnny Ruddell, Brian Welch, Ray Walker, Tony Gauthier, Aubry Anding and K. C. Richey. Honorary pallbearers include Avery Gardner and Jacob Crawford.
