Obituary of Sharel Renee Miller

Funeral services for Sharel Renee Miller, age 63 of Georgetown will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, LA with Father Louis Sklar officiating. Burial will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery, Clarks, LA under the direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5 PM until 8 PM and Sunday from noon until time of service at the funeral home. 

Sheral Renee Miller was born May 8, 1955 in Sikes, LA to the union of her parents, John Beryl and Johnnie Mae Crews Miller and she passed from this life on September 6, 2018 in Winnfield, LA. Renee was a well-known animal advocate. She worked tirelessly and was an overachiever for the PAWS Animal Society. She was lovingly referred to as The Cat Lady. Renee was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Stacy Renee Nugent Rials; her grandmother, Edna Miller and her son-in-law, Dustin Kyle "Duck" Anding.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Steven Paul Laszlo and wife, Chasity of Georgetown, LA; her daughter, Lindsey Danelle Laszlo of Olla, LA; brother, Randy Beryl Miller and wife, Helen of Kelly, LA; sisters: Rhonda Franklin and husband, Clark of Holum, LA, Linda Miller of Hebert, LA, and Brenda Denham and husband, Steve of Milton, FL; grandchildren: Derrick Gavin Rials, Draven Paul Laszlo, Kaden Paul Laszlo, Logan Benjamin Banes, Austin Kyle Anding, Khristian "Zayne" Taylor and Elijah Delain Cherry.

Pallbearers will be Steven Laszlo, John Miller, Benjamin Banes, Draven Laszlo, Derrick Rials, Brandon Miller, Logan Banes, Kaden Laszlo and Kenny Davis.
