Obituary of Sherry Ann Shipp

Funeral services for Sherry Ann Shipp age 66 of Hebert will be held 10:00 am Friday November 9, 2018 from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Rod Shipp officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Cemetery at Hebert. Visitation will be held on Thursday November 8, 2018 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Sherry Ann Shipp was born on November 10, 1951 to the union of her parents Alvin Lester Shipp and Bertha Inez Duchesne Shipp and passed from this life on Novemebr 6, 2018 at the West Monroe Guest House following an extended illness. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents and ten siblings: Lucy Russell, Faye Harvey, Alvin Shipp, Shelby Shipp, C.H. Shipp, Joe Shipp, Roy Shipp, Bob Shipp, Loyd Shipp and Floyd Shipp.

She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Mullenix, Jacob Jones, Darrin Shipp, Chad Duncan, Jimbo Emmons and Heath Mott.

The Shipp Family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the West Monroe Guest House, doctors and staff and the Jordan Hospice for the wonderful and loving care extended to our aunt. We will never forget your loving and kind service rendered.
