Brother, I'm absolutely heartbroken over losing you but I know you are worshiping face-to-face with your Savior and finally free from the worries and trials of this life. Your life wasn't easy but Jesus has now wiped away every tear and you are free to enjoy His presence for all eternity. I will miss our nearly daily conversations. My phone will be a bit more quiet now and that makes me sad. I will miss your constant encouragement to be the man of God that I'm called to be. In many ways, you were like a father to me and I'll miss your close friendship for the remainder of my days on this earth. I'm thankful to have your last voicemails saved as well as your last texts and a few other things to remember you by but the many, many memories will carry me forward. In your last voicemail, you left me with a challenge but it's one I accept. You finished your race well and I know you prayed often that I will do the same. I love you, friend.
