Obituary of Christopher John Spillers

Funeral services for Christopher John "Bull" Spillers will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Banks Springs Baptist Church, Columbia with Bro. Billy McClanahan officiating. Burial will follow at Bosco Cemetery, Bosco, LA under the direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the church from 6 PM until 9PM Friday, November 16, 2018 and beginning at noon prior to the service on Saturday.

Christopher John Spillers was born July 21, 1971 in Monroe, LA to the union of his parents, Robert and Reyes Spillers and he passed from this life on November 14, 2018 in Monroe. Christopher was a welder and worked on shutdowns. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and driving 18-wheelers, but he was known for his big heart. He touched a lot of lives and was always willing to help others in any way he could. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Christopher Lee Spillers and Mack Theodore Spillers.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister and brother-in-law: Caroline and Joe Wayne Hall and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wade Escalon, Bo Crain, Josh Rogers, Billy Crain, Dusty Smith and Dustin Lee Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Joey Escalon, Joe "Bubba" Hall, Dean Hall and Tysan Parker.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Riser Funeral Home to help with the expenses of the funeral.
