Obituary of Helen Riser Smith

Helen Smith passed away unexpectedly November 12th in Clearwater, FL at the age of 74.  She was born in Clarks, LA and was a long-time resident of Orlando, Florida and most recently Clearwater, FL.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Kristy Borton of Clearwater and her husband, Harold; son, Scott Smith of Palmerton, PA and his wife, Tammy; mother, Ruth Riser of Columbia, LA; brothers: Rodger Riser of Brandon, MS and  James Riser of Meridian, MS; sister, Neva Zobb of Ocean Springs, MS; 4 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Verna Riser, brother, Wayne Riser and sister, Susan Riser.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Riser & Son  Funeral Home in Columbia, LA Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m with a visitation beginning at noon prior to the service.
