Obituary of Joe Busby

Funeral services for Joe Busby, age 58, of Columbia, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 28, 2018 at  Apostolic Truth Tabernacle in Grayson with Rev. Sherman Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Old Union Cemetery west of Grayson. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 AM until service time at the church.

Joe was born September 12, 1960 to the union of Perry and Evelyn Busby in Monroe and he passed from this life on December 26, 2018 at his residence in Columbia.

He was a member of Apostolic Truth Tabernacle in Grayson and he loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his parents and half-sister, Leomy Hope.

He is survived by his wife: Margaret Charlene Busby of Columbia; step-son: Timothy Crain and his wife Chastity of Urania; brother: Eddie Busby; half-brother: Alfred Busby; half-sister: Bernice Girod; step-grandchildren: Kasey Spence and her husband Shane; Aaron Faucett and her husband Michael and Keith Crain.

Pallbearers will be Craig McMullin, Justin McMullin, Dusty Stapleton, Lakota Stapleton, Zack Beckley, and Tyron Beckley.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Adam May.
