To Ellen and the Mcllwain family my deepest condolences.I remember the kindness that Mr.Mcllwain and Mrs.Charllotte showed me when growing up.One time when I was a young teenager and wanted to start a grass cutting business but I didn’t have the money to buy a lawn mower, they let me have the mower and come in weekly to pay it off.I will never forget that act of kindness.When we loose loved ones in death I always turn to God the help get through the pain and sorrow and remember verses such as Rev 21:3,4 where God promises a time when we will never be faced with death anymore.

Dear McIlwain family:
It is with my deepest sympathies I would like to tell the family what Bob was to me and my family. I bought vehicles, tires, had vehicles repaired for many years under his watchful eye. He even got Ronnie and I into trout fishing in Colorado pulling out his map and telling us of the places to go. I have lots of memories of Bob and he will be greatly missed. Cindy Arrington Perry

My heart breaks for you all as you say goodbye to this wonderful man! He was such a symbol of strength and compassion for my mom for many years as she worshiped with the Church in Columbia. I remember as a child driving through the hills to attend church with Bob’s parents. I was very young, but I remember visiting in their home when Bob was still in High School. I’ll always remember him fondly and will never forget how kind and helpful he was to me when my mom passed away. God Bless you all! He has left you a wonderful legacy!
