Obituary of Sam Edward Tidwell, JR

Funeral services for Sam Edward Tidwell, Jr age 67 of Columbia will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday March 12, 2019 from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Saint Barnette officiating. Following the service the family will honor Sam's request to be cremated. Visitation will be on Tuesday March 12, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Sam Edward Tidwell, Jr. was born on October 13, 1952 at Tullos, LA to the union of his parents Sam Edward Tidwell, Sr. and Margie Tidwell. He passed from this life on Saturday March 9, 2019 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe following an extended illness.

Sam was preceded in death by his wife Rena Moore Tidwell, by his parents and by his brother George Tidwell. He was a loving husband and father and son. He was a member of the Band of Rebels M C.

Left to cherish his life and memories are his daughters: Charlene NicoleAllen Earls (Johnny) of Columbia and Georgia Marie Conner Simms (Kevin Conner) of Kelly; four grandchildren: James Allen, Niki Wyatt,  Ronni Simms and Haley Cherneski.
