Obituary of Donna Taylor Volentine
Graveside funeral services for Donna Taylor Volentine age 64 of Grayson will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday March 12, 2019 at the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson with Bro. Jeff Masters and Bro. Courtney Dunn officiating. Interment is under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
Donna Elizabeth Taylor Volentine was born on March 29, 1954 at Urania, LA to the union of her parents Jean and Daigo Taylor and she passed from this life on Sunday March 10, 2019 at her residence, surrounded by her family following an extended illness. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, by her sister: Dianne Taylor, her nephew: Benji Masters and by her father-in-law: Tollie Volentine. Donna's career spanned some thirty-six years as she was a special needs teacher in the Caldwell Parish School System. She also worked extensively with the Caldwell Parish Recreation Center starting in 1976. Donna was one of the truest fans of all LSU Sports. Donna truly”Bled Purple and Lived Gold.” To know Donna was to love her and she will be missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her life and a lifetime of memories are her husband of thirty five years Aaron Volentine, of Grayson; her sons: Heath Volentine and Brooks Volentine both of Grayson; her sister: Debbie Taylor Ainsworth of Grayson; her precious grandchildren that she loved so dearly: Blaine Volentine, Mia Volentine, Brannon Volentine, Brooklyn Volentine, Daisy Volentine, and Erin Elizabeth Volentine; her nephew: Jeff Masters and her mother-in-law: Geraldine Volentine.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kurt Volentine, Kyle Volentine, Holden Volentine, Benny Ray Nevels, Hunter Volentine and Dustin Volentine. Honorary pallbearers will be T. J. Steele and Logan Volentine.
