Doris Wallace Holloway passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at the Franklin Parish Medical Center in Winnsboro, Louisiana after a lengthy illness. Doris resided at Plantation Manor, Winnsboro for the last few years.
Doris was the fourth child born to Lola and Bill Wallace on July 8, 1937 in Natchez, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Billy Wallace; sister, Jean Wallace Isbelle; niece, Daina Griffin and nephews: Donald W. Wallace and Richard (Ricky) Hudson.
She is survived by sisters: Betty Jo Griffin (Jim) and Barbara Ann Wallace; brother, Donald Wallace (Mary Ann); nieces: Cindy Hartman, Debbie Griffin and Kim Griffin; nephews: Jim Wallace (Surmartha), Bob Wallace (Lori), Dan Wallace (Brandi) and several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Doris was a member of Kress Memorial Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Winter Park, Florida area. She greatly enjoyed her retirement until her health started failing. Her greatest love was FLORIDA and entertaining guests from out of state…SO much to do and see in Florida she would say. Probably knew more about Disney that Walt himself. Not liking cold weather, the sandy beaches were another favorite.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice.
