Obituary of Patricia Ann Jones

Memorial services for Patricia Ann Noland Jones will be held at 10 AM Saturday, April 6, 2019 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia, LA with Bro. Bruce McGee officiating.

Patricia Ann Noland Jones was born January 11, 1947 in Monroe, LA to the union of her parents, Norval C. Noland and Evelyn Evans Noland and she passed from this life Wednesday, April 3, 2019 in Grayson, LA surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Patricia worked for the state of Louisiana as Purchasing Director at E. A. Conway Hospital for 33 years before her retirement. Family was important to Patricia and she enjoyed fishing with her son and playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was fondly known as "Aunt PP" to her nieces and nephews. When she was speaking of someone she loved, it did not matter who she was talking about or what they looked like she would always say "They look just like me!" She was a good friend who could be relied on to always be there in good times and bad. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Brandi Yvette Ginn; her son, Timothy Dewayne Carter and wife, Crystal; her nephew, Les Welch who was like a son to her; brother, Dennis Evans; sisters: Norva L. Jackson, Debbie K. Foster, Donna Maxwell and Ruth Ingles; grandchildren: Jaisle Bailey, Haley Nicole Carter, Hannah M. Carter, Reanne L. Ginn and Madison L. Taylor; great-grandchildren: Maisyn Marie Carter and Kyson St. Andre; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends: Kenneth A. Jackson, Kathleen I. Finn, Donna Carr-Platte, Veronique Salvato, Brenda Ellerbe, Judy Parker and Tammy A. Washington.
