Obituary of Linda Crawford Brantley

Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Crawford Brantley age 75 of Columbia will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday April 9, 2019 at the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley Pittman officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Catahoula Cemetery at Enterprise. Visitation will be on Monday April 8, 2019 at the funeral home from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Linda Christine Crawford Brantley was born on February 28, 1944 at Enterprise, LA to the union of her parents Walton Laverne "Buddy" Crawford and Anna Lea "Momma Lea" Hooter Crawford and she passed from this life on Friday April 5, 2019 at the Willis Knighten Medical Center in Shreveport following an extended illness.  To know Linda was to love her. She was a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Mrs. Brantley was a member of the New Ouachita Baptist Church at Enterprise having been baptized in 1956, and she was a retired office manager with Cajun Boats, INC. In her early years she was a beauty operator. She loved to paint and one of her special loves was that for puppies. 
She leaves behind her beloved husband of forty eight years, Ronnie Brantley of Columbia; two sons: Mike Aldridge (Marcie) of Smithdale, Mississippi and Gary Aldridge (Mary) of West Monroe; two step-daughters: Alitia Terry (Robert) of Indian Harbor Beach, Florida and Julie Mouradian (Wally) of Ocala, Florida; her sister: Vicki McCarty of Monroe; her grandchildren: Josh Aldridge, Ashton Chisholm, Billy Aldridge, Walt Aldridge, Mary Jane Aldridge, Frank Terry, Tammy Hacking,, Shaunelle Sanford and Rainer Elken, Harly Mouradian; and a host of great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Aldridge, Josh Aldridge, Carey Chisholm, Walt Aldridge, Justin Eubanks and Jerry Eubanks.
