Obituary of Elaine Robbins Carroll

Funeral services for Elaine Robbins Carroll, age 91 of Olla will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home, Olla, Louisiana with Rev. Johnnie Phillips officiating. She will be laid to rest at Olla Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home in Olla.

Elaine Robbins Carroll was born October 14, 1927 at Goss, Mississippi to the union of her parents, Evin William Robbins and Corine Conerly Robbins and she passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019 at her home in Olla, Louisiana. Elaine loved being outdoors and working in her yard. She enjoyed gardening but she especially loved to mow. Elaine was a sweet lady and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Ray Carroll, brothers: Ralph Robbins and Windell Robbins and sisters: Jessie Filippi and Doris Nunnery.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Robert Carroll (Candy) of Winnfield; daughters: Patricia Ann Edington (Donald) of Ruston and Jacqueline Cantwell (Vernon "Butch") of Pineville; sisters: Shirley St. Clergy, Louie May English and Nelwyn Roberts; grandchildren: Suzanne Edington, William Scott Cantwell (Jessica), Carol Dawn Pirkey (Matt), Megan Carroll, Robyn Lyn Caskey (Gavin), Caytlin Vick (Nicholas); and great-grandchildren: Ryan Pirkey, Paige Pirkey, Gracie Cantwell, Emma Cantwell, Caroline Cantwell, Liam Cantwell, Karley Elaine Caskey and Colton Caskey.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
