Obituary of Rose Marie Cockerham

Funeral services for Rose Marie Cockerham, age 60 of Olla, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia, Louisiana with interment following at Good Hope Cemetery, Kelly, LA. The family will receive visitors from 5 PM until 8 PM Tuesday, April 30 at the funeral home.

Rose Marie Cockerham was born November 9, 1958 in Columbia, Louisiana to the union of her parents, Oscar and Geneva Palmer and she passed away April 29, 2019 in Monroe, Louisiana. Rose Marie loved being outside tending to her yard. While she mowed and weeded everything herself, she had a special talent for growing beautiful flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Elmer Palmer and Marvin Palmer.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Louis Cockerham; her son, Robert Randall; daughter, Bonnie Bates (Troy); brother, Wren Palmer (Judy); sister, Bonnie Bridwell (Bill) and her beloved grandchildren: Kodey Bates, Kameron Bates, Jordan Randall, Whitney Poole, Drake Randall, Colin Byrd and Jacob Jones. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Palmer, Tim Palmer, Maurice Grant, Jordan Randall, Trey Franks, Rocky Stephens and Colin Byrd. Honorary pallbearers are Kodey Bates, Kameron Bates and Drake Randall.
