Obituary of Tammy Michelle Hatfield

Tammy Michelle Hatfield age 51 of Columbia passed from this life on May 19, 2019 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe following a brief illness. Tammy was born on February 23, 1968 at Pineville, Kentucky to the union of her parents James Willard Shepherd and Emma Jean Lewis Shepherd. Tammy spent many years as a Manager for McDonalds restaurants. She had recently moved to Columbia to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and by her brother: Bill Shepherd and two sisters: Mary Lou Shepherd and Kathy Shepherd. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother: Emma Jean Shepherd of Kentucky; two daughters: Niki Mosley of Columbia and Tiffany Hatfield of Kentucky; three brothers: Gary Shepherd, John Shepherd and James Shepherd all of Kentucky; four sisters: Barb Shepherd, Kimberly Cox and Donna Cox all of Kentucky and Miley Fishero of Indiana; and her beloved grandchildren: Kayden Walters, Bradley Caldwell, Cadence Caldwell and Serenity Caldwell.

Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday May 23, 2019 at Columbia Hill Cemetery  under the direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia.

Pallbearers will be Tyron Beckley, Sloan Wyles, Recee Sanders, Sam Sanders and Matt Murphy.
