Obituary of Kathryn "Kathy" Marie Naquin

Kathy Marie Naquin, 61 of Urania passed from this life at her home on Friday, May 24, 2019 following a brief battle with cancer. She was born March 9, 1958, the daughter of William Greenwood and Evelyn Greenwood (Pardue) of Kelly. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, step-father (Bob) and brothers: Randy and Danny.

Kathy leaves behind her husband, Jim Naquin; her mother, Evelyn Greenwood (Pardue); her son, William Weaver (Barbie); brother, Sam "Bobo" Greenwood (Gail); step-brother, Bobby Pardue (Donna); step-sister, Jenna Clark (Timmy); two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kathy loved to cook. She liked to feed the squirrels and birds, camp and fish, and ride motorcycles. She will be greatly missed. She also enjoyed attending church services at Kelly Baptist Church with Brother Joe Aguillard and her church family.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the chapel of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia, Louisiana with Bro. Joe Aguillard officiating. Interment will follow in Lowe Cemetery, Kelly, Louisiana. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 5 PM until 8 PM Saturday, May 25, 2019 and from noon until 2 on Sunday.

Serving as pallbearers will be Randall George, Cree Gregory, Jay Minard, Kenneth Childress, Jackie Harris, Cameron Rabalais and Tyler George.
