Obituary of Dewey Lee Robinson

Graveside funeral services for Dewey Robinson, age 90 will be held at 11 AM Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Springhill Cemetery, Jonesboro, Louisiana under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home, Columbia, Louisiana.

Dewey Lee Robinson was born July 18, 1929 in Jonesboro, Louisiana to the union of his parents, Leon Buddy Robinson and Lillian Smith Robinson and he passed from this life May 17, 2019 in Monroe, Louisiana at the Northeast Louisiana Veteran's Home. Dewey served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved archeology and found many interesting and exciting artifacts while on archeological digs throughout the years. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Marty Robinson; sister, Marie Robinson Del Rio and brother, Charles Robinson.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons: Robbie Robinson, Randy Robinson and Monty Robinson; grandchildren: Ashley Kennedy, Andrea Robinson and Zach Robinson and great-grandchildren: Jesilynn, Maddox and Christopher Lee.
