Obituary of Anne Virginia Kelley

Memorial services for Anne Virginia Kelley, age 71 of Grayson, Louisiana will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 10, 2019 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home, 7131 Hwy 165, Columbia with Bro. Shane Duke officiating. The family will receive visitors from 9 AM until time of service at the funeral home.

Anne Virginia “Ginger” Kelley was born March 4, 1948 in Kelly, Louisiana to the union of her parents, Willard McMullen and Chlotile Head McMullen and she passed from this life on August 6, 2019 in Shreveport after a brief illness. Ginger was a good friend to all and always greeted you with a smile. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, dancing, family gatherings, chickens, Cajun music, shopping and just life itself. She was loved deeply by her family and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Jimmy “Jim Bo” McMullen and Ray McMullen; grandson, Ronnie Harper and sister-in-law, Wanda McMullen.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Cheryl Eager; brothers: Roy McMullen and Billy McMullen; granddaughter, Chlotile “Skeeter” Harper; great-grandchildren: Peyton Harper, Kaylee Stamper, Addison Noland and Emaleigh Wood. She also leaves behind her niece, Michaela Pruett; nephews: Curtis McMullen, Craig McMullen, Shane McMullen, Brannon McMullen, Justin McMullen and Dade McMullen as well as, her very special friends, Deb Singley and Nita Jordan.
