Obituary of Charles "Buddy" Page

Graveside funeral services for Charles F. Page, Jr., age 72 of Columbia will be held 10:00 AM Monday, August 12, 2019 at the Columbia Hill Cemetery with Rev. Shane Duke officiating. Services are under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. The Page family will receive visitors on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

Charles Frederick Page, Jr., known as "Buddy" to his many friends was born on October 6, 1946 at Monroe, Louisiana to the union of Charles Frederick Page, Sr. and Alice Taylor Page and passed from this life on August 9,2019 at the Rayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy battle with Alzheimers. Buddy spent his entire life in the farming industry farming in Caldwell Parish. He served on numerous agricultural boards including Louisiana Farm Bureau, National Farm Bureau Association and the National Cotton Council, just to mention a few. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Mary Alice Caraway and his brothers-in-law: Leeman Stamper and Walter Carraway. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 52 years, Carolyn Tullos Page of Columbia; his son, Scott Page (Tina) of Columbia; his daughter, Carla Jacobson (Denious) of Columbia; sisters: Pat Wyant (Ron) of Grayson and Barbara Stamper of Columbia; his grandchildren: Page Jacobson, Taylor Jacobson, Angelica Masters and Holli Dobson; great-grandchildren: Jeffery and Thomas Masters, Ryli, Harli, and L. J. Edwards.
