Dear Joyce and Family,
My wife and I were saddened to hear of Greg's passing.
I still remember a personal experience I had with Greg that showed how much he loved Joyce and was so excited for the future.
One of the jobs I worked during High School was at the drugstore in Columbia which also sold various merchandise including gift items. Greg came in one day when I was working and said he was looking for a gift for Joyce. As I helped him I remember thinking to myself how it was so obvious the excitement on him in his voice and in his eyes when thinking of her and getting her the gift item. And as I watched him walk out and down the sidewalk of the store I remember thinking then there goes a guy who has plans for them.
Since then, you all have lived that future which he anticipated with such excitement.
We know that this unexpected time is so incredibly hard for you. We have prayed for you, that only as the Lord can, His grace will help and bless you through it.
