Obituary of Lloyd Lee Poole

Funeral services for Lloyd Lee Poole, age 78 will be 2:00 PM Thursday, August 29, 2019 in the Chapel of Riser Funeral Home with Bro. Grant Bamburg (message) and Bro. Ricky Jones (Eulogy) officiating.  Interment will follow at Blake Cemetery (behind Pleasant Ridge Church) under the direction of Riser Funeral Home.  The family will receive visitors from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Lloyd was born April 1, 1941 in Olla, Louisiana to the union of his parents, Velva Smith Poole and Leroy Poole and he passed from this life on August 28, 2019 at St. Joseph Nursing Home.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Jimmie Lawrence Poole and Sister: Betty Jo Poole Cruse.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Elizabeth Poole, daughters: Charlotte Poole and Laura Poole, brother: Donnie Lane Poole, sisters: Marion Poole Johnson, Lavinia Poole Blake and Gloria Poole Marshall, grandchildren: Sarah Ranolls, Melissa Donnalley and Kimberly Donnelley, Great Grandchildren: Alivia Ranolls and Wesley Donnalley.

Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Cruse, John Graham, Allen Coates, Martin Mullins, Joel Ranolls, Charles Lee Stephens and James Mcanally. Honoray pallbearer will be Jacob Coates.
